New for 2014, AmaZing Venues has launched a wedding package which allows couples to tie the knot but still celebrate independence.
Launching initially at Ackergill Tower, the company's Scottish property ahead of Scotland's bid for independence, the wedding plan will see guests seated independently; not according to the side of the groom or bride, no top table at the wedding breakfast but instead a chance for the bride and groom to dine with their friends or families on independent tables and first dance collection rather than a single song allowing both elements of the new couple to choose a significant song.
Tying the knot at Ackergill provides independent couples an unusual back-drop following the tower's reopening in April after a £1m refurbishment. A world renowned venue, it stands proudly on the northeast coast of the Scottish Highlands, Gary Barlow, Jack Nicholson, Michael Douglas, Twiggy and Jeremy Irons have taken advantage of the castle's peaceful and private location.
The package will be rolled out across all of the AmaZing Venues' Scottish properties; Kinnettles Castle and Carberry Tower and a wedding package which includes a three course meal for a maximum of 180 guests with room hire from £600. A package for 100 guests costs just £96 per person and includes venue hire, all the elements of the independent wedding package listed above, two arrival drinks, a three-course meal, half a bottle of wine each and a glass of bubbly for toasts.
