Over the busy holiday period, Qantas will operate 96 flights per week to and from Hamilton Island. This is the highest level of flights servicing in the history of the Great Barrier Reef Airport at Hamilton Island.

From December 20 2003until January 17 2004, three services per day will service Hamilton Island from Sydney and daily flights from Brisbane, Cairns as well as a flight every day (except Thursday) to and from Melbourne.
