100 Exhibitors Already Confirmed | Event Set to Exceed 275 Journalists Record

TravMedia UK is on course to deliver a record-breaking IMM in 2017, as the leading single-day event for journalists and travel PR professionals returns on 13 March to London's QEII Centre.

Already over 100 leading tourism and travel brands have signed up to attend IMM (www.travmedia.com/immuk), a year-on-year record, leading TravMedia to predict 2016's tally of 148 exhibitors will be exceeded and that the venue's capacity will sell out.

Over 200 journalists have pre-registered for the event, meaning 2017's IMM is also set to surpass 2016's record of 275 attending journalists.

Last year over 4900 meetings were pre-booked between journalists and exhibitors through the event's Meeting Manager site. The day attracted writers from publications including BBC Good Food, Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Daily Star, ELLE, Good Housekeeping, Lonely Planet Traveller, MailOnline, Marie Claire, The Guardian, The Sun, The Telegraph, The Times, Travel Weekly, TTG and Wanderlust.

Exhibitors already confirmed for this year include Atout France, Austrian National Tourist Office, Carnival Cruise Lines, Croatian National Tourist Board, Isles of Scilly, Kuoni, London & Partners, National Trust, New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, Saga Travel, Trainline and Visit Scotland.

IMM is established as the industry's leading platform for travel and tourism brands to meet the media.

Exhibitors enjoy a dedicated branded table where they can brief leading travel journalists, editors and broadcasters on their news and developments. As a single-day networking and relationship-building opportunity the show is unrivalled.

Said Henry Hemming, Managing Director of TravMedia UK: “So many journalists and exhibitors say they can forge a year's worth of results in a single day at IMM, which is why the event has grown so successfully. We're looking forward to a sold-out show in March.”

IMM has become the leading event connecting media with international tourism and travel brands. TravMedia also hosts IMM events in Australia, Singapore, Germany and the USA.
