Record-Breaking Journalist Attendance at IMM 2018, TravMedia UK's 7th Event Connecting the Media with the Travel Industry
TravMedia UK has announced that this week's International Media Marketplace (IMM) in London drew over 300 journalists for the first time ever – a worldwide record for the event.
Sponsored for the third year in a row by Brand USA, IMM was attended by 222 delegates representing 166 worldwide tourism and travel brands.
Over 3900 meetings were pre-booked between media and exhibitors, another high for the London show.
Attending the event at Westminster's prestigious QEII Centre were editors and writers representing media including The Times, Daily Telegraph, The Sun, CNN Travel, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, ELLE, OK!, Wanderlust, TTG and Travel Weekly.
Among the brands making their IMM debuts were African Bush Camps, Chimu Adventures, Cotswolds Tourism, Discover the Palm Beaches,The Royal Yacht Britannia, Tarn Tourism, Grenada Tourism Authority, isango!, Luxury Lodges of Australia, and Namibia Tourism Board.
