Once a year, legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli takes to the stage in his hometown of Lajatico in Pisa for a magnificent open-air concert at the Teatro del Silenzio, set against the backdrop of rolling Tuscan hills.

The concert concept was dreamt up in the early 2000's by Bocelli himself, who convinced the municipality of Lajatico to create the venue, which opened in 2006 and blends into and reflects its beautiful surroundings.  For the rest of the year, the venue is closed. Now in its 18th year, next year's concert takes place on 27th July 2023 and looks set to be as memorable as ever.

Alternatively, for guests who prefer to stay in Volterra, the elegant Park Hotel le Fonti is set amongst parklands, overlooking the Volterra hills, a view which can be enjoyed from its beautiful infinity pool.  With a wellness area and superb Il Brachettone restaurant, it makes a wonderful location from which to enjoy the concert itself and explore the iconic towns of Siena, Pisa, Lucca and San Gimignano.
