With 72-hours of daylight, an impressive line-up and a natural hot spring on site, Iceland's brand new music festival, Secret Solstice, has the summer festival scene sewn up.
Taking place over the summer solstice weekend in Reykjavik from 20-22 June 2014, the world's most northerly capital city will wow revellers with an epic three-day weekend of partying and amazing tunes when the sun never fully sets.
Headlined by Brit music giants Massive Attack, the line-up announced so far features more than 150 established and up-and-coming international acts from a multitude of genres, with other heavy hitters including Woodkid, Damian Lazarus, Eats Everything, Skream Jackmaster, Boddika, Oneman and Kerri Chandler.
Located in Laugardalur in central Reykjavik, the festival site boasts various outdoor and indoor stages as well as the largest thermal pool in Iceland, Laugardalslaug - the perfect place to recoup after a wild night out. Hostels, guesthouses, luxury hotels and camping sites are within a five minute walk.
The festival's unique attributes are likely to draw thousands of partygoers from overseas with the help of WOW air, Iceland's only low-cost airline and official travel partner of Secret Solstice. With Super Early Bird tickets already sold out, a limited number of WOW air three-day festival passes are still available at £73 each.
