TravMedia is pleased to announce the partnership with Hyatt Regency Sydney for the eighth annual International Media Marketplace Australia (IMM) as the official host of the IMM 2020 Cocktail Function. The cocktail networking function will be held on 28 February at the Hyatt Regency Sydney following TravMedia's International Media Marketplace.
“At Hyatt Regency Sydney we welcome thousands of guests each day across our accommodation, bars and restaurants and event spaces and as such, are recognised as Sydney's go-to gathering place – a dynamic spot where guests can relax, meet, engage and recharge. We're delighted to extend this hospitality to visitors of TravMedia's IMM to celebrate the wrap up of the 2020 event at our cocktail event” said Malcolm Zancanaro, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Sydney. “We see it as an opportunity connect travel journalists/ contributors and operators in a social environment and to recognise the hard work and collaboration of a community that brings experiences to life across the tourism and travel industry here in Australia and beyond.”
Now in its eighth year, TravMedia's IMM is the leading travel industry event to meet the media. Taking place in the International Convention Centre Sydney, IMM 2020 will bring together 150 travel and tourism brands with 200 media to organise 8,800 pre-scheduled networking appointments to plan a year's worth of stories and media trip opportunities.
“TravMedia is delighted to partner with long-time supporter, Hyatt Regency Sydney as the official hosts of the IMM 2020 Cocktail Function,” said Nick Wayland, CEO and Founder of TravMedia. “IMM is a great celebration of the travel industry and what better place to celebrate the day, than at the Hyatt Regency in Darling Harbour.”
Upcoming 2020 International Media Marketplace events include IMM Germany in Berlin the day before ITB on March 3; IMM UK in London on March 9 & 10, the second annual IMM France in Paris on March 11.
