Budapest should now be on every cool shoppers travel list as the city embraces a wave of young designers with their trendy boutiques springing up throughout the city. Stores such as Retro Deluxe, Nanushka and Tisza Shoes are selling the designs of local designers and now there is a new design market, WAMP, taking place every month where visitors can find a wide variety of products such as clothes, jewellery, bags and shoes, from some of the city’s fresh new talent. WAMP is a community event where emerging designers showcase their works and is a meeting place for Budapest’s creative and trendsetting people. The market is on in May on 5th, 12th and 19th and is popular with both locals and visitors to the city. Please check the web site for more information and dates beyond this www.wamp.hu
