Leading budget accommodation provider Hostelbookers.com will be extending its biggest ever sale by a month. The sale, which has seen rooms in hostels and budget hotels snapped up for up to 60 per cent off their normal price, has run successfully for three weeks and will now finish on 28 February 2010. Discounted bookings have been made from a choice of 369 properties available in 91 towns and cities in 28 countries around the globe. The discount applies to journeys completed by 31 March 2010. The most popular property in the sale, which has been running since 7 January 2010, is the Vintage Hostel in Paris, currently offering 40 per cent off their normal prices. Travellers can book the hostel�s private en suite rooms from just �18.29pppn during the sale, with free breakfast and Wi-Fi included in the price. European hotspots London, Berlin, Venice and Lisbon have also proven to be popular destinations during the sale. For a bargain city break overlooking London�s Hyde Park, beds in a 14-person dorm at the MEININGER Hotel London are available from �15 pppn, a 25 per cent discount. In Berlin, between the city�s nightlife and shopping districts of Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain, the Generator Hostel Berlin is available from just �12.89pppn. Staying in a private twin en suite room with breakfast included. The price represents a 20 per cent discount. For a romantic break in a 19th-century palace, the Casa Arcobaleno, Venice is bookable from just �26.12ppn, 25 per cent off the normal one-bedroom apartment price. In Lisbon, private double rooms at the highly rated Lisbon Guests are available from just �11.76pppn. The hostel offers free Wi-Fi, has no curfew, and is located just 50m from the underground station and 3km from the famous hilltop Castelo de S�o Jorge.
