Host Unusual have started the new year by collaborating with Ecologi, who plant trees each month on their behalf and invest the regular donation given by Host Unusual into projects that remove more greenhouse gasses than their own carbon footprint puts in, as a business.
Alex from Host Unusual commented "We felt very strongly about this as many of our partners have their own sustainable practices and we feel that we too should be playing our part."
In December 2020, Ecologi funded their 6 millionth tree, ready to be planted in planting sites around the world, including Madagascar and Guatemala, with tree numbers accelerating towards the end of the year.
