TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo offers a unique and unforgettable setting for events and special occasions of all types and sizes. The Zoo offers two premium indoor facilities that can be rented together or separately to fit any group:

• Safari Lodge: This 17,000 square foot climate-controlled facility blends the beauty and wonder of nature with exciting entertainment options, current technology and culinary sensations. The Lodge is situated within the African habitat area, just steps away from variety of exotic animals like meerkats, giant tortoises, zebras, giraffes, elephants and more. Capacity: 500 seated or 750 reception-style.

• Reilly's Reserve: Guests can enjoy a more intimate gathering at Reilly's Reserve, located in the Safari Lodge. With spectacular views of our African savannah, your guests can marvel at elephants, giraffes and zebras while savoring delightful dining and cocktails. Capacity: 120 seated or 200 reception-style.

For outdoor ambiance, in our unique and natural setting, a variety of outdoor locations are also available. Here are a two of our most popular outdoor locations for group events:

• Ituri Forest: Located within the African habitat area, the Ituri Forest is a tranquil outdoor location surrounded by beautiful towering trees and lush vegetation. Various options include a large paved patio, covered gazebo and covered deck. Just a few steps in any direction will bring you face-to-face with a variety of African species, including okapis, pygmy hippos, cheetah, exotic birds and more.

• Wallaroo Station: Guests of all ages will be impressed with your next event held in the 4.5 acre Wallaroo Station children's zoo. Adults and children alike will enjoy this Australian-themed area, which includes paved patios with covered dining options, “The Billabong” splash ground water play area, children's rides, a petting zoo and pony barn, and a variety of Australian animals.
