Award-winning creative and publishing company Grin Creative have launched a new free digital publication in collaboration with Tourism Australia's Signature Experiences brand, Great Fishing Adventures of Australia.
The new publication, Allure, brings together some of Australia's most remote, spectacular and heart-quickening fishing experiences from right around the country.
From the freshwater streams of Tasmania to the rivers teaming with Barramundi in the top-end, the new publication melds all the passion points of Australia's most popular sport and this country's most exciting adventure destinations.
The content in the inaugural issue sinks deep into the stories, lives and personalities that make Australia's fishing industry so special. Including the Mornington Peninsula fishing charter business and its all female deckhands, Bay Fish N' Trips. There's also a special section dedicated to the industry secrets of renowned Tasmanian fly fishing guide, Karen Brooks.
Allure is yet another example of GRIN's hugely successful push into digital publishing in 2021, having already launched multiple online travel publications for Norwegian Cruise Company Hurtigruten and The Travel Corporation.
Thanks to the support of its inaugural distribution partners - Olympus, Phoenix Leisure Group and the Australian Game Fishing Association - this first issue of Allure is expected to reach a combined audience of more than 250,000 Australians.
“Until now, I think we've taken for granted how varied and bountiful the fishing experiences are right around our country,” publisher Justin Jamieson says. “When we first started speaking with Tourism Australia about this project, we were blown away by the sheer diversity of landscapes, the different charter experience, the remote wilderness lodges and the stories of the fishing personalities in the industry. It made our lives as everyday storytellers really easy.”
