An enhanced version of one of the world's largest light and music shows, A Symphony of Lights, will cast a dazzling array of visual effects across Hong Kong's famous skyline as the city welcomes in 2020. Live satellite and social media feed of the entire show lasting around 10 minutes will be provided to media organisations worldwide by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB).
At 11:59pm on 31 December 2019, the façade of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) will turn into a giant clock to count down to the New Year. Then, as midnight strikes, A Symphony of Lights will transform the night sky with a stunning display of lasers and searchlights filling the horizons, LED screens projected across harbourside buildings, and rooftop pyrotechnics adding to the stunning effects.
The entire show can also be viewed live on the HKTB's website (www.discoverhongkong.com), as well as on its Facebook and YouTube platforms.
