For the last thirteen years Hong Kong's iconic skyscraper skyline has dazzled with a nightly multimedia light show captivating visitors and locals alike. Now, for the first time since it was first introduced on 17 January 2004 the show will be updated.
On 1 December, a new show will debut curated by Australian Emmy award winner, Richard Lindsay and his globally renowned team.
The show will include dynamic lighting effects accompanied by a new musical score from Asia's leading classical orchestra the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
The nightly 10-minute multimedia light show above Victoria Harbour will incorporate a variety of exciting lighting effects including coloured search, laser and beam lights sent out in rhythms from 40 buildings and sites on both sides of the harbour.
The performance will also feature for the first time LED panels on a number of harbourside buildings, with displays of interactive images and messages illuminating buildings and encouraging audience participation.
Providing visitors with a thrilling and unforgettable sound-and-light experience, the show will run from 8pm every evening from 1 December 2017. Spectators are also encouraged to download the 'A Symphony of Lights' mobile app to learn more about the show and also to be able to tune into the synchronised music.
