Home Farm Glamping, London's nearest glamping site, is due to be welcoming guests from Friday April 24th.
The site, which is set in 100 acres of stunning fields and woodland, is just minutes from the end of the Jubilee and Northern Lines and offers a wonderful respite from crowded city life. Guests can choose to stay in a beautifully decorated yurt or bell tent, both of which contain a double bed and can be fitted with additional single beds, all fully made up with luxurious warm bedding.
Each has their own outdoor seating area with fire pit and barbecue, so you can sit back and watch the stars while soaking up the peace and quiet of the countryside and enjoy spending quality time with your loved ones.
Charcoal and wood are provided, along with cutlery, crockery and glasses so you can self-cater and dine al fresco. Food and drink can be stored in the on-site fridge freezers. You can do an online shop and have it delivered in advance if you are arriving on public transport and don't want to carry heavy items, and a local livestock farm delivers boxes of free range produce.
For those that choose not to cook themselves, there is an on-site café tent where you can pre-order breakfast, afternoon tea or dinner. Group dining events such as 'Supper Under the Oak' will be held throughout the summer, alternatively, there are several pubs within walking distance.
The site has six bathrooms each with a hot shower, flushing loo and heated towel rail.
During the day guests can take walks around the farm, including the beautiful Tykes Water lake and 100 Oak Wood. There is a croquet lawn, plenty of open space to play football, rounders or frisbee, and there's a badminton set and ping pong table available for everyone's use. Kids will love the woodland play area, and enjoy discovering the nature trail.
Tents start from £80 per night (sleeping two).
