Apollo Motorhome Holidays

Apollo Motorhome Holidays, the Australian-headquartered campervan and motorhome specialists have announced their expansion to France, just in time for the 2019 Tour de France race. As riders make their final preparations for one of the biggest events of the year, Apollo has begun welcoming cycling enthusiasts eager to follow the route at their new motorhome hire depot just south of Paris.

Arguably the biggest cycling event in the world, the Tour de France began on 06 July, welcoming over 12 million roadside spectators along with an estimated 3.5 billion people watching broadcasts around the world. The new Apollo rental depot is situated in the commune of Sens, within the Burgundy countryside and less than an hour from Paris, perfectly located for a journey following the Tour de France.

With a team of local, English speaking experts on hand to assist guests with vehicle demonstrations and touring inspiration, the company has specifically catered for an inbound, international visitor. Guests can choose from a range of new 2019 model Weinsberg motorhomes, built to an exclusive specification for Apollo. The range includes 2-6 berth models suitable for couples, groups of friends and families who want to explore France at their own pace. Comfort and practicality are at the forefront of the amenities offered and all vehicles come with beds, on-board kitchen, shower, toilet, heating and electricity as well as twin leisure batteries for free camping, reversing cameras, multi-lingual GPS navigation and built-in media player. Cycling enthusiasts can also benefit from the on-board bike rack capable of carrying 2-3 bikes as well as the option of bicycle hire.

Apollo Tourism and Leisure started in 1985 in Australia and has since grown to become one of the largest recreational vehicle manufacturers, retailers and renters across the globe with operations in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada and now Europe. Opened in April 2019 alongside the company France Motorhome Hire, the French depot is Apollo's second European location having opened in Hamburg earlier this year. The company also owns Bunk Campers, one of the largest campervan and motorhome rental companies in the UK & Ireland after acquiring the business in 2018.

To celebrate the opening of their new depot, Apollo Motorhomes are giving cycling enthusiasts and avid Francophiles the opportunity to see more of France with 10% off July campervan and motorhome hire. With a free second driver, full gas bottle and bike rack on all vehicles, customers have everything needed to make their French road trip truly 'fantastique!'
