Holiday Inn Celebrates 50TH Anniversary With Special Asia Pacific Promotion And Microsite

Holiday Inn is turning 50 and to celebrate, Six Continents Hotels is offering guests a 50% anniversary offer on accommodation and a range of added extras when they stay at any of the 87 Holiday Inn hotels throughout the Asia-Pacific region during August and September.

Through to September 30, all guests will receive the third consecutive night free when they book a two-night stay at any Holiday Inn hotel. In addition to this 50 percent anniversary bonus, guests wanting a longer break will be entitled to the fifth night free for four consecutive nights booked at Holiday Inn Resorts.

As part of the anniversary activities, Six Continents Hotels also announced today the launch of the Holiday Inn 50th Anniversary Asia Pacific microsite which provides visitors with interactive news and online contests, at www.ap.holiday-inn.com.

The microsite allows guests to make online reservations and participate in cyber scratch and win contests to win promotional dining discounts and free accommodation. The site also contains interesting and interactive information on Holiday Inns history, milestones and brand, as well as news releases, updated promotional information and guest experiences at Holiday Inn.

Earlier this year, Six Continents Hotels conducted consumer research throughout Asia Pacific to ascertain the most important guest preferences in a hotel stay. Respondents identified a good nights sleep, overall room comfort, efficient customer service, bathroom comfort and express check-in and check-out as the five most important attributes that contributed to a holistic experience that enhanced the emotional aspects of their stay.

In response to these findings, Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts will add on a surprise treat when guests sign up for the 50th Anniversary promotions:
