Hilton Pattaya was today awarded "Country winner for Best Hotel, Thailand" by the inaugural Asia Pacific Hotel Awards 2013-2014. Held in association with Virgin Atlantic and Yamaha, the award is rated across various categories for specific types and sizes of hotel such as best hotels, hotel architecture, interior, construction and design. The awards were presented at Shangri-la Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on May 10, and leading companies behind these award-winning hotels and hospitality projects were invited to attend and receive the prestigious awards. A total of 94 awards were given to 19 countries in the region for a variety of hotels, ranging from small to large and general to specialty.
