Following a year of successful renovations, Hilton Brisbane today announced it would spend $4 million to breathe new life into its conference and event facilities.

The upgrade will see a complete re-design of the hotel's fifth level as well as the breakout spaces and meeting rooms on level eight.

Chris Partridge, general manager, Hilton Brisbane, said the refurbishment will reinforce Hilton's position as the prime choice for residential conferences, meetings, weddings, social functions and corporate events.

“We have already seen very positive results from last year's renovations with a significant increase in bookings for weddings and social functions,” said Mr. Partridge.

“We will be implementing a number of technological upgrades to meet the demands of the corporate market and will be bringing Harry Seidler's original vision and design aesthetic to cement the venue's reputation as Brisbane's premier function and event hub."

The hotel invested $700,000 in 2015 to rejuvenate its Pool Terrace and Victoria's Room, and has committed nearly $14 million over the last five years to create an oasis of style in the middle of Brisbane's inner-city bustle.

With a function space covering 2,500 square metres divided across 19 rooms, a capacity of 1,000 people and a high tech business centre, the venue caters to functions ranging from small groups to large corporate events.
