High Country Harvest's Full Program of 40 Events on Sale Now

Tourism North East

Food lovers are invited to feast their senses in North East Victoria alongside the region's top producers, chefs, winemakers and craft brewers at HIGH COUNTRY HARVEST (16 – 25 May) this autumn. Get up close and personal with a program of 40 events over 10 days, as you celebrate the High Country's autumn goodness amid landscapes of harvest-hued valleys, rising mountains and wide open skies. The full program is ON SALE NOW.

Join beekeepers to inspect their hives and harvest honey in a secret beekeeping forest, or learn to make sweet Italian cannoli from scratch from a nonna-in-the-know; feast and dance bonfire-side before camping out beneath a full autumn moon, or learn the lost art of packing a horse (only this time, with Prosecco!) before a ride to the riverbanks for local bubbles and cheese.

Tourism North East CEO Sara Quon commented on the curated program:

High Country Harvest events range from picnics and bonfires under big autumn skies, to bike and horseback rides en route to High Country feasts, to hands-on classes on North East specialties such as craft brewing, venison jerky and CWA classics.

In celebration of High Country Harvest, foodies will have the chance to WIN dinner for two at all nine of the region's The Age Good Food Guide-scored restaurants.
