HF Holidays win Best Activity or Adventure Tour Operator award five years in a row

Leading walking holidays tour operator HF Holidays celebrated success yesterday at this year's Virtual Silver Travel Awards 2020 by winning the Best Activity or Adventure Tour Operator award for the fifth consecutive year. In addition, HF Holidays were also voted Highly Commended in the Best UK Breaks Operator Award.

A record 225,000 votes – a staggering 60% increase from last year – were cast in this year's Virtual Silver Travel Awards by the general public, who embraced the opportunity to vote and recognise the travel companies, cruise lines and destinations that have delivered the very best service and outstanding experiences for the over 50s traveller, over the last 12 months.

Winners were announced to an audience of hundreds of travel industry colleagues and Silver Travel Advisor members on Tuesday 15 September in a brand new Virtual Silver Travel Awards 2020, hosted by the inimitable Gyles Brandreth and Silver Travel Advisor's very own Debbie Marshall, at The Wallace Collection, London.

HF Holidays were also nominated in the Best Operator for the Single Traveller, and a popular choice for the ever-increasing solo traveller in the over 50s market which includes the Silver Travel Advisor members and are renowned for their sociability and friendly guided walking holidays.  With 18 perfectly located country houses in the UK, all offer quality accommodation and are tailor-made for the walking and outdoor enthusiast with drying room and boot rooms. 

Since lockdown, HF Holidays have re-opened 17 or their 18 properties and are welcoming guests in a now new Covid-safe environment, and are looking forward to launching their 2021 programme, which also includes Family Adventures and Special Interest themed activity holidays in the UK and Worldwide destinations.
