International tour operator, HF Holidays, has appointed a new Chief Executive, Joe Lynch, who brings a wealth of experience and a passion for outdoor adventure to the position.

Joe joined the walking holiday specialists on 7th January and has spent his whole career within the travel industry, with previous roles at TUI, Neilson Active Holidays and Le Boat over the last two decades. Most recently, he has lead the commercial transformation of the Youth Hostel Association, bringing digital change and new life to the heritage brand.

He said: “Growing up in the Yorkshire Dales, I have always had a love of walking and outdoor activity. There really is no better way to experience somewhere new than to set out on foot and really get to know a destination for yourself.
