Journey Latin America

With England having secured their place in the 2014 Football World Cup in Brazil, specialist tour operator, Journey Latin America, announces a Special World Cup Departure of their Highlights of Brazil holiday. The trip visits the country’s top destinations while soaking up the very special tournament atmosphere during the World Cup in Brazil 2014.

The unique holiday takes in the iconic Rio de Janeiro, the spectacular Iguaçu Falls, the vast, densely-vegetated Amazon, continuing on to the colourful, African-influenced Salvador da Bahia, before a final few days relaxing on the beach at idyllic Praia do Forte.

This special one-off journey will coincide with three group matches played in Manaus (14 June) and Salvador da Bahia (16 and 20 June).

The Highlights of Brazil Special World Cup Departure departs the UK 7th June 2014 and costs £4,695 per person. This price includes 3-star accommodation, transfers, guided excursions and most meals, but excludes international flights. Guide price on international flight from London £1,210.

“I was living in Brazil during the 1986 World Cup. It was an extraordinary experience in which I witnessed the sweeping up of virtually the whole population in almost hysterical excitement. Of course they expected to win: when Zico missed his penalty in the shoot-off against France the country collapsed in speechless gloom (for a day or two!)...”
Claire Milner, Client Information Manager

Ends.

Notes to the editor:
Please note Journey Latin America is not selling match tickets and the price does not include tickets to any of the FIFA world cup matches. If you’d like to take in a game during your holiday, tickets will go on sale on the official FIFA website from 20 August 2013. If passengers secure tickets for any of the games that coincide with this tour, Journey Latin America will be happy to help with transfers to the stadium.
