Hong Kong - Mr. Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Secretary of the United States and Nobel Peace Prize winner, visited Sofitel Wanda Beijing on 29 Jun, Monday and received a warm welcome from Mr. Ian Alexandre, General Manager of Sofitel Wanda Beijing.

Mr. Kissinger attended a dinner at Sofitel Wanda Beijing�s Le Pr� Len�tre, among Beijing�s most revered French restaurants specializing in the art of gastronomy. To pamper the revered guest, Mr Yannick Ehrsam, Chef de Cuisine of Le Pr� Len�tre, prepared an exquisite menu using the best of local ingredients and genuine French ingenuity. No stranger to Michelin-style dining, Chef Ehrsam ensured that every aspect, from the choice of dishes to their preparation and presentation, made a statement that reflected the Len�tre tradition of culinary excellence.

Chef Yannick Ehrsam Yannick Ehrsam, a French national, brings six years experience in the art of cuisine. He began his culinary career at Restaurant Laurent in Paris when he was 20 years old. Since 2003, Yannick has been associated with Michelin star restaurants. From 2004 to 2005, Yannick worked together with Marc Veyra, the famous three star Michelin Chef, at La Ferme de Mon P�re restaurant. Later, while at Le Bateau Ivre restaurant, a two star Michelin restaurant, Yannick was promoted to Sous Chef de Cuisine. Before his new appointment in Sofitel Wanda Beijing, Yannick worked as Sous Chef de Cuisine in the Colombey-les-Deux-Eglise hotel.
