Hell of the North – Thai Style

Nectar for regular sportive cyclists, Hell of the North – Thai Style, is one of the toughest road-cycling holidays in KE Adventures portfolio.  Riding in what has become the most exotic winter training grounds of professional teams – Thailand's far North West contains the tallest mountains and toughest road climbs in the country. Cyclists love to test themselves and the Mae Hong Son Loop has already accumulated legendary status. Near perfect tarmac roads snakes their way through 600 miles of remote and unrelenting hill-tribe country, with sinewy, alpine style climbs and descents. The 69 mile route from Mae Rim to the hippy town of Pai alone has a mind blowing 1,864 curves to negotiate in one small day section!

Over two weeks we will complete a total of 600miles with 10 days of riding with a total of +15,000 metres of ascent and descent. This holiday is 100% vehicle supported on good surfaced roads, with excellent bike hire is available locally.

KE director Tim Greening completed the route last November and described it as “the ultimate road cycling experience in the most unusual of biking destinations”.
