Harriet Ganfield, GBR Helicopters' Head of Sales
The Managing Directors of GBR Helicopters, Chris Cooper and Ian Johnson are pleased to announce the appointment of Harriet Ganfield as the company's new Head of Sales - Tourism.
In announcing this appointment, Ian Johnson said "Harriet has been a terrific addition to our company's sales team since joining GBR Helicopters in 2011. With her extensive tourism industry experience and leadership skills, Harriet was a natural choice to manage our tourism sales department. We congratulate Harriet on her promotion and feel know she will embrace each opportunity with passion and enthusiasm."
According to Mr Johnson, Harriet has worked for GBR Helicopters for two years - starting in the reservations department and progressing quickly to China Sales and Marketing Manager. "Harriet's strong background in customer service, business, tourism and Chinese language make her a unique asset to the company."
Together with her sales and marketing team of Saya Matsuoka , Mary Liu and Cathy Strahan, Harriet's role will be to direct and grow the tourism activities of GBR Helicopters along the Far North Queensland coast.
Harriet grew up in Cairns and is a graduate of James Cook University. As such, she has a deep love for the region and understands the importance of tourism to Far North Queensland. Added to this, Harriet lived, studied and worked in China for a number of years.
