Reaffirming its position as North Queensland's leading helicopter tourism operator, Great Barrier Reef Helicopters is pleased to announce the appointment of a new head of its Customer Services department, David Howarth.

 

 

 

Originally from the United Kingdom, David Howarth has global experience within the tourism and event management industries and is excited at the prospect of leading the customer service team at GBR Helicopters.

 

 

 

"I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining what is clearly the biggest and best helicopter company in North Queensland," said Mr Howarth.

 

 

 

"Safety is imperative within the tourism industry and GBR Helicopters' policies and exemplary safety record were a big drawcard for me. They've recently undergone numerous safety audits and passed them all with flying colours - if you'll excuse the pun," he said.

 

 

 

"The company is the stand out operator in the region and has a great range of really exciting products that I can't wait to get involved in. I'll be working closely with all of the company's 55 staff members and hope to get well acquainted with all 12 helicopters in the fleet."

 

 

 

Managing Director Ian Johnson said he was pleased to welcome David to the Customer Services Manager role and believes his experience will further the company's position as North Queensland's leading helicopter company.
