Helen Wong and her dedicated staff will be "working" overtime on the May 4-5 weekend . . . all for a good cause.
Instead of clocking in at the CBD office, though, the team will spend the two days outdoors in the annual Hills Relay for Life in Kellyville in north-western Sydney.
In addition to offering a $6000 holiday to China in the event's major raffle, Helen will personally donate a further $2000 to the Cancer Council of NSW just to see her team take part.
"I'm looking forward to this weekend," said Helen as she limbered up during training. "I hope everyone gets behind this fund raising exercise and donates generously to such a good cause," she said.
Helen Wong's Tours, leading China tour specialist of 26 years, has donated the holiday for two to Beijing, which includes a tour of the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and much sought-after Great Wall on China, as the major prize in the giant fund-raising raffle.
The fabulous prize includes two return airfares from Sydney to the Chinese capital, four nights' accommodation with breakfasts at the Beijing Marriott City Wall Hotel, three days' sightseeing with transfers to and from the hotel and an exciting evening at the acrobatic show, again with transfers.
The winning couple will also receive transfers from and to the airport in Beijing along with the assistance of an English-speaking guide during the stay.
Founder and managing director of Helen Wong's Tours, Helen Wong, a Hills District local herself, said a China visa for Australian passport holders would also be included in the prize along with a travel kit and bag.
