Heather Thomson, of Bravo TV Real Housewives of NYC fame, will lead an 18 woman climb up Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2016. The TV personality, fashion designer and philanthropist, will partner with charity No Barriers and celebrated climb expert, Jeff Evans. The climbing team includes female military veterans and top entrepreneurs showcased at www.kiliclimb2016.com.
Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, Africa, is the world's highest freestanding mountain at 19,341 feet. It is one of the world's famed Seven Summits, the highest seven peaks on the seven continents, located 200 miles south of the Equator.
The seven day climb, up the Macheme route, commences Sept. 20, finalizing Sept. 28. The team will summit day 6 and descend via the Barafu route.

Jeff Evans, doctor and 30-Year-Mountaineer, lends his expertise to lead the climb. A rescue mission specialist, he is adept in managing danger factors at high altitudes. Evans will be featured on the Travel Channel show, “Everest Rescue” airing October 2016.

In addition to No Barriers, she is a cause Celebrity for Organ Donation and sits on the board as a founding member of the The Kellner Family Pediatric Liver Disease Foundation.
