Have a Guaranteed 'Whale' of a Time with Captain Cook Cruises

Captain Cook Cruises

Whale Watching cruises are back again in 2013 operating daily Whale Watching cruises from 18 May until 19 November and offers a whale guarantee. If a whale is not sighted during the cruise, passengers can cruise again for free!

Captain Cook Cruise's popular Whale Watching cruises take passengers past the Sydney Opera House, Fort Denison, the bays of Sydney Harbour and out through the heads to the open waters off the coast where passengers can watch the whales play, jump and splash about in Sydney's waters.

Most whales are found within 2kms of shore and with a WHALE GUARANTEE, fully equipped fleet and highly skilled and knowledgeable team, passengers will have an unforgettable experience.

The number of Humpback and Southern Right whales passing through Sydney on their annual northern migration between Antarctica and the Great Barrier Reef, is expected to reach its traditional peak around the Winter Solstice on 22 June.

After calving in the northern waters between August and September, the whales will then again head south past Sydney, making their long journey back to Antarctica.

Passengers will be able to spot the whales onboard ocean-catamarans, featuring two decks both with spectacular open-air viewing and a comfortable inside all-weather lounge for the entire family.
