HAT Marketing Appoints Ex Disney Florida Specialist Helen Fitch Thomson to drive sales of the popular Kids Eat Free Card and Dine4Less Card
HAT Marketing has appointed Helen Fitch Thomson to manage and drive sales of the popular US "show and save" cards, the Kids Eat Free Card Orlando, Dine4Less Card Orlando & Las Vegas, and the company's newest savings card the Orlando Go Golf Card.
Thomson who worked for Disney for over 8 years was Head of Ticket Sales for the UK and Ireland driving the roll out of Disney's ticket media.
Says Kevin Brett, Managing Director, HAT Marketing: "Helen worked with me at Disney and was responsible for business development and channel management for the Disney ticket products. She has a great understanding of what the travel industry needs to incrementally drive their business forward as well as a keen eye on what does and does not motivate the consumer. We are delighted she will be bringing this level of experience to our business and will prove to be a great asset to the team. In 2011 we distributed nearly 40 thousand Kids Eat Free Cards in the UK alone, and launched the Dine4Less Card in two US destinations which has proven equally popular. Helen will be instrumental in expanding our distribution and providing the consumer with great money saving offers as well as highlighting this great commissionable add on to the trade.
Prior to working at Disney in the UK, Helen worked for Airtours Holidays for five years in the role of General Sales Manager in the UK, Southern Region. And she worked within the sales function at Airtours Holidays in the role of overseas and management trainer for their in-resort staff. Helen lived in Orlando for five years where she worked for both Disney and Intasun Holidays.
