A team of 10 people from Hansar Samui's management and staff visited Wat Praleab School on 28 March for a fun fill visit with the school's 126 pupils, ranging from 5-12 years of age and donated school bags to each child. 

The children attending this school come from poor families whose parents work on the land, farming and gardening.  The area and school were recently affected by floods. 

The purchase of the bags (totaling Baht 55,000 –  approx. USD1,700)  was raised through proceeds of the latest harvest from the hotel's organic garden harvest.
