On 14th November, 2015, Hansar Samui joined the religious ceremony called “Kathin Festival”, a traditional Buddhist festival held at Bophut Temple. 

Hansar Samui has continued its on-going CSR program by being a part of local community to celebrate this religious ceremony arranged once a year. The hotel's representatives also give financial contributions received from the hotel's staffs and the money raised from the hotel's organic garden.

“Thod Kathin Festival” comes at the end of the three-month rainy season retreat. This is the time that months throughout the country are free to move from place to place and eligible to receive new robes, Buddhist literature, kitchen equipment and financial contributions etc.

Each month, Hansar Samui holds or supports a different event within the local community as part of its corporate social responsibility program.
