Creepy corpses and neon cobwebs are among chilling new installations at the immersive trail Halloween at Blenheim Palace next month.
The illuminated trail, which casts the beautiful gardens in a spectacularly eerie light, runs from 21-31 October 2022 and enables family and friends to wander from one ghostly space to another.
The corpses will be wrapped in cobwebs, which are attached to overhead branches and also contain spooky spiders. A haunted graveyard has a host of horrors including gravestones, shovels, spades, bones crows, wire ghosts and creaking coffins – can you hear the tap, tap, tapping?
Make your way into the Witch's Covenstead where more creepy installations await, such as a cauldron, ram's skulls, metal mushrooms, real pumpkins and shepherd crooks.
Along the way you will glimpse a headless horseman, live actors, fire performers and be sure to watch out for the witch and other characters lurking in the shadows.
Adding to the atmosphere, listen out for shrieks in the night, witches' cackles, sudden screams and thunderclaps. Throughout the trail, you will be watched by 100 sets of Demon eyes…
Blenhiem Palace CEO Dominic Hare said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Sony Music to host a very special Halloween family experience again this year. An amazing opportunity to explore our beautiful gardens at night with new installations and more surprises!”
