Grosvenor House Launches a Virtual Site Inspection of the Great Room

Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel

Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel has launched a Virtual Site Inspection (VSI) of the Great Room allowing meeting and event planners to view capacities, dimensions and options in an interactive video.

Digital communications specialists for the meetings and events sector, Eventopedia, filmed the VSI to showcase the scale and flexibility of the Great Room; the largest and most unique five star ballroom in Europe and home to some of the most eminent events in the calendar.

The 1 minute, 20 second video takes the viewer from the private Park Lane entrance into the Great Room foyer, through the reception to the balcony, into the ballroom. Its interactivity features deliver 3D dimensions and allow event planners to click and engage with informative content throughout. Social media links are also embedded, allowing relevant content to be shared immediately.

Lorna O'Neill, Director of PR at Grosvenor House says, “We immediately saw the benefit of the Eventopedia VSI as a tool to engage with our clients and showcase the uniqueness and scale of the Great Room in a way a photograph can't. We're delighted with the end product.”

Hospitality & Venue Expert, Toby Heelis and former Corporate Agency Director, Alan Newton founded Eventopedia. Alan says, “An increasing number of venues understand the impact of digital communications and how Eventopedia VSI can deliver relevant and engaging content to meeting and events planners, helping to save time and money through the sourcing process. It's fantastic that such a prestigious property as Grosvenor House is one of the early pioneers of our innovative solution.”
