Agents are welcome to join the Visit Greece team for lunch and networking every day with Greek exhibitors, including hotels, regions and local Greek travel companies.

Each day, the menus will be a tribute to the local gastronomy of a different region and offer a range of regional delicacies. The regions are:

The Island of Crete on Monday 7 November

The North Aegean Islands on Tuesday 8 November

Northern Greece, Halkidiki and Thasos on Wednesday 9 November

Every day, Greece will hold a prize draw and agents attending the Greek lunch will have an opportunity to win a holiday prize, a Kindle and a copy of Victoria Hislop's new book 'Cartes Postales of Greece'.

After a busy day at World Travel Market, UK trade and travel professionals are invited to join the Visit Greece team at their stand for evening drinks including Greek wines, beers and liquers.

Monday's event will include live music and Tuesday's a DJ set after 18.00 pm.

The Visit Greece stand hosts a number of exhibitors including hotels, regions and travel companies from across the country and its islands, so this is a great way to do some networking while sampling some of the best drinks, Greece has to offer.

The first 10 attendees who visit the Greece stand (EU1200) and tweet about the events on Monday and Tuesday will also take away a goody bag of gourmet Greek products.
