'Load Off Your Back' is part of the long-established Ramblers Worldwide Holidays guided walking adventures company and is dedicated solely to independent, self-guided walks on stunningly beautiful locations throughout the UK.  

Basically, the concept is that using the website, clients can choose the trail which most appeals from a tantalising range of options and 'Load Off Your Back' will make all the necessary arrangements including, accommodation, route maps, guide books and baggage being taken from one overnight stop to the other.  People travel individually and at their own pace with no minimum group size !

12 routes are now featured including the following brand new self-guided walks –

The Pennine Way, remote, tough and challenging – often described as Britain's greatest walking trail.  Price from £310 per person – 3, 5, 6, 9, 13 or 20 days duration.

Ridgeway, secluded valleys, woodland and untainted, ancient landscapes.  Price from £325 per person – 3, 4 or 6 days duration.

The Cleveland Way, embracing a multitude of English Heritage sites with classic moorland scenery and the highest sea cliffs in the country.   Price from £410 – 5, 7, 9 or 10 days duration.

The Great Glen Way, which runs along the magnificent lochs for which Scotland is renowned. Price from £380 per person – 5, 6 or 7 days duration.
