We have scoured the huge lists provided by the National Tourist Boards  to produce a single Pan European Guide  of folklore festivals, music extravaganzas , quirky events,  historic re-enactments and major sporting events  to bring you an 'at a glance' guide  of  the most important cultural, fun  or bizarre events being held  between Spring and  December  2014. 

We have endeavoured to give accurate dates wherever possible together, with many web site addresses so you can view in more detail what is on offer in any European country
