London, 26th June 2018: Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, will become an oasis of wellness this September as the resort welcomes its annual Wellness Getaway. Running from 5th - 9th September, guests can expect superlative health and wellness facilities and treatments – from vegan cooking classes and juice therapy to anti-gravity yoga sessions and Spa Atelier self-discovery workshops. True to the resort's ultra-luxury all-inclusive offering, complimentary sessions will be available on-tap for guests to benefit from, hosted by leading industry experts.
San-Francisco-based health and wellness coach, Joanne Encarnacion, will spearhead High Intensive Interval Training (HIIT) while best-selling author and Los-Angeles-native Nikki Sharp will lead Vinyasa Yoga classes as well as vegan sushi demo classes. Additionally, “Fashion's favourite healer” Deborah Hanekamp will provide exclusive Medicine Reading Ceremonies – offering a full-sensory experience combining sound and crystal healing, energy balancing, intuitive readings and spiritual guidance. Ana Paula Dominguez, founder and director of the Mexican Institute of Yoga, will also be hosting Kundalini Yoga sessions. Kundalini Yoga focuses on an uplifting balance of spiritual and physically practices, incorporating movement, meditation, engaged breathing techniques and mantra chanting. The aim of Kundalini is to build vitality and amplify consciousness.
To highlight the experience, guests can stay in one of Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit's Wellness Suites. Purposely designed as a retreat for the body and mind, each wellness suite comes with a plethora of fitness offerings and a carefully-crafted menu of wellness amenities. Guests can enjoy a session with a personal trainer as well as a consultation with the resort's chef to personalise their very own menu. This two-floored retreat features private spa spaces, Lifecycle® recumbent bicycle and exercise kit, penthouse Jacuzzi as well as massage tables with panoramic ocean views.
