In January, music maven Mya jet-set into town landing a gig at QT Sydney where she filmed her latest music video for her just-released new single, Coolin'.
Released internationally yesterday, the Grammy nominated singer's new music video was filmed in QT Sydney's luxe State Suite, providing the ultimate setting for the sultry star's classic-looking clip, produced in black and white.
The film's Shoot Director Matt Sharp says QT Sydney's look and feel fit the brief perfectly.
“The classic design and character of the suites made QT Sydney a no-brainer for the shoot location. The hotel transported us to an elegant, timeless and unique world that provided the perfect aesthetic for Mya's performance,” he says.
On tour throughout Australia in November last year, the final shows were in Melbourne and Sydney where the shoot took place in the lead up to the 59th Grammy Awards.
“QT Sydney is one of the top designer hotels throughout Australia, so in addition to offering the ultimate, plush comfort, QT also captures the perfect mood and vibe for the current project I am working on with its creative design & concepts,” says Mya.
