The Chelsea Foundation will be opening a new soccer school at La Manga Club from next Easter but familes don't have to wait until then to enjoy sporting excellence, with Spain's flagship resort offering an array of sports and Halloween-themed activities over the October half-term holiday.

The Premier League champions' foundation will stage a series of junior training camps at the award-winning resort over the next three years, and football is just one of the sports that youngsters can indulge in next month – with free accommodation offers available to guests staying five nights or more.
As well as football and goalkeeping academies, boys and girls can brush up on their golf and tennis skills at the resort's Golf Training Centre and outstanding 28-court tennis complex.
In addition, and in the build-up to October 31, children aged five to 12 will be left spellbound by the variety of tricks and treats in store at La Manga Club's specially-themed School of Wizardry.
Included in the five-day long programmes are a mixture of magic-inspired workshops and Halloween-themed activities, while youngsters under-five can also experience a feast of spooky delights at the resort's acclaimed Junior Club.
Families can take advantage of a choice of accommodation options at La Manga Club's five-star Principe Felipe Hotel or four-star Las Lomas Village apartments including five nights' bed and breakfast for the price of four or seven nights' for the price of six for a family of four staying on a half-board basis (breakfast and dinner).
Based on two people sharing a room, all packages also include entry to the Junior Club and Halloween programme and acccess to the saunas, steam rooms, indoor pool and gym at Spa La Manga Club. Set across 1,400 acres in Murcia, south-east Spain, La Manga Club – also the official overseas training base of the Lawn Tennis Association – continues to set the standard as Europe's favourite sports and lifestyle destination.

Seven-night half-board packages for a family of four in the Hotel Principe Felipe (based on two people sharing a double room) start from €2,098 (approx £1,825) including one night free.
