Online travel company, Globehunters, has announced special packages at 4* Dubai hotels for the Dubai Shopping Festival in January. Exclusive holiday packages including city and desert tours will be available at the Cassels Al Barsha and Emirates Grand Hotel for the duration of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which runs from2nd January – 2nd February 2014.
The bespoke holiday packages - which start at £579 per person - include return flights and a variety of inclusive treats for guests to enjoy when they’re not bargain hunting. As well as indulging in some tax-free retail therapy, guests will be able to see all the essential sights on the Dubai City Tour and experience the open expanses of the desert on the Dune Desert Safari.
The Dubai City tour will take in the iconic Burj Al Arab and the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque. This is followed by a trip across Dubai Creek to visit the atmospheric gold souq which offers unparalleled discounts on gold jewellery.
The Dune Desert Safari departs late afternoon and takes guests into the unspoilt desert landscapes just outside Dubai. Guests will be driven over the dunes in a 4x4 and then have the opportunity to take pictures, ride camels and enjoy a BBQ dinner with belly dancing.
These special offers are expected to appeal to the increasing number of UK-based visitors heading to Dubai in January to take advantage of the Dubai Shopping Festival’s reduced prices.
