Perth’s vibrant city life and spectacular natural surroundings will capture visitors this March as one of the greatest musicians on our planet Björk headlines WA’s Premier Cultural Event Perth Festival, celebrating its 70th year.
The Australian exclusive of Cornucopia, a visually spectacular landscape of lush colours, futuristic screens and wild images of nature will come alive with Björk's wondrous music, as she performs alongside musicians and choirs of flutes and voices in Perth’s Langley Park 3,6,9 and 12 March 2023.
The Björk presale opens at 12pm Thursday 27 October and is released to the general public at 12pm Thursday 3 November.
To celebrate the Perth Festival 2023 theme of Djinda (Stars), we welcome one of the world’s greatest stars, during the season of Bunuru (second summer). As this once-in-a-lifetime otherworldly brilliance illuminates right here in Perth, visitors can walk on a dream from the banks of the glittering Swan River (Derbal Yerrigan) to the sparkling sea of the Indian Ocean with 19 pristine metropolitan beaches inviting visitors to swim, surf, and sunbathe.
Perth Festival 2023 brings exciting, world-class performance, music, visual arts and literary events from 10 February 2023, with the Lotterywest Films season heralding the summer ahead from Monday 21 November 2022. The full Festival program will be announced next Thursday 27 October.
From exploring one of the largest inner-city parks in the world, Kings Park and Botanic Garden (Kaarta Koomba), to the crystal-clear blue waters of Rottnest Island (Wadjemup), a short ferry ride off the coast of Perth, where the world’s happiest animal, the Quokka, awaits, discover dreamlike experiences and natural wonders at every turn. Plus, the heart of Perth City pulses with bustling bars, restaurants, hotels, shopping and cultural spaces.
