Glastonbury Rain Forecast - Ditch Your Muddy Tent And Go Self-Catering

Owners Direct from HomeAway
Bad news - the forecast for Glastonbury is for rain, mud and more mud. Good news - there's still a chance you can ditch your tent for a warm, dry self-catering property nearby.

Holiday rentals specialists Owners Direct (www.ownersdirect.co.uk) lists around 21 properties near Glastonbury currently showing availability during the Glastonbury Festival which gets underway tomorrow.
(25th - 29th June)

According to BBC weather, light rain is due to start on Thursday evening before heavy showers throughout Friday afternoon into the evening. Around 4mm of rain is predicted over the weekend - which means tents could become more than a little soggy.

Karen Mullins, Marketing Director of Owners Direct says: "Why get soaked in a muddy tent when you can stay in last minute accommodation to suit your budget and party size near the festival site with everything you need to dry out and relax.  You have the freedom to come and go as you please and bring your friends too, as well as spending some extra time seeing nearby sights and attractions,” she explains.
