POWDER BYRNE LAUNCHES 2 NEW ACTION-PACKED TEENAGER PROGRAMMES FOR THEIR WINTER AND SUMMER OPERATIONS
- WINTER
SnoZone Advanced for teenagers will be launched in Arosa for 2016 as an extension of Powder Byrne's SnoZone Programme. This course for kids aged 13 years plus is designed to push competent young skiers forward, and is ideal for those who have an interest in taking their sking to a whole new level.
Candidates, who need to be capable black run skiers, will be thoroughly assessed on the first day and placed in appropriate groups so that they will ski with others of the same level. The course will include development of advanced ski techniques including freestyle skiing, with time spent learning new skills and big air tricks in the snow parks. If conditions allow, time will also be spent tackling off- piste skiing, and going on a full day's ski safari. This course serves as the perfect next step toward participating in the PB Ski Academy. Events will also be organised for the evenings so the fun can continue, such as indoor climbing, bowling and meals out with their mates.
SnoZone Advanced will run over 5 days at February half term and Easter in Arosa. Cost: £595 per week, excluding lunch.

- SUMMER
PB Adventure Academy will be launched in the summer of 2016 in Portugal and Elba for teenagers aged 13 years plus. This will be an active, adventurous and structured week for teenage kids, overseen by Powder Byrne managers, with qualified instructors for specific elements of the programme. The programme operating from Penha Longa Resort in Sintra, Portugal will include surfing on the famous Atlantic Guincho Beach, cycling, paddle boarding and horseriding. In Elba the Adventure Academy will operate from Hermitage and Biodola Hotels and activities will include mountain biking, SCUBA diving and sailing.
PB Adventure Academy will run over 5 days in Elba & Sintra.
Cost: £495 per week, excluding lunch.
