To celebrate the Tour de France coming to Yorkshire this July, The Hotel Collection has put together a special cycling package at The Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, a stone's throw from the finish line of Stage 1 of the competition. The Grand Depart package gives cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to explore the area on two wheels by providing two nights dinner, bed and breakfast, as well as an invigorating leg massage, a guide to local cycling routes and secure overnight bike storage. Guests will also be given a cycling goody bag upon arrival containing a cap, drinks bottle, energy gels, energy bar and a tube of electrolyte tablets. Prices start from just £198 per person.

The Harrogate, Ripon and Nidderdale area is well-known for its excellent cycling routes and guests at the Majestic looking to follow in the tracks of the Grand Depart competitors can get a real feel for the world-famous event by following the exact route of the Stage 1 stint, which is signposted throughout the area.

For those who are not quite up to standard to enter the Tour de France this year, bikes are available to hire at the hotel and a handy guide to local cycling routes that are suitable for all abilities will be put in guests room upon arrival.
