get lost in South Africa: A Brand Partnership Hot Off the Press

get lost magazine

We know we're doing something right at get lost magazine when one of Africa's hottest tourism destinations engages us to produce a travel guide to woo even more visitors.

South African Tourism has partnered with get lost to produce a 40-page glossy mini magazine that lifts the lid on some of the country's most fascinating and unique travel experiences.

get lost in South Africa is being distributed with issue 44 (available in newsagents and online from April 1), showcasing the Rainbow Nation's true colours like never before.

The mini magazine features four unique week-long itineraries – from road tripping the dramatic Eastern Cape and big-five spotting on safari, to altitude highs in the Drakensberg mountains, exploring the Kalahari Desert and scintillating city sights.

Get lost publisher Justin Jamieson said the editorial team was rapt to be able to give South Africa the full “get lost treatment”, and had come up with an enthralling selection of travel experiences.

“It's been a fabulous opportunity partnering with South African Tourism to produce a magazine that not only provides a distinct marketing voice for the organisation, but also fits with our unique brand of travel.

“Our readers are massive winners, too, because they are ultimately the beneficiaries of some really inspiring content.”

South African Tourism Australasia Country Manager Lalie Ngozi said she was delighted with the final product, which would give their marketing campaign a real edge.

“We approached the team at get lost magazine because we recognised some real synergies between their experiential approach to travel and the vision we had for promoting South Africa.

“The mini magazine is a fabulous showcase of some of the more unusual sights and opportunities we have to offer and really speaks to our target market.”

get lost issue 44 is available in newsagents and online via Apple Newsstand and Amazon.
