At the London Dungeon this December

This December the London Dungeon (situated next to the Coca-Cola London Eye) invites you to get into the Christmas spirit as the real life house burglar, John Smith gets ready to receive his fate.

Based on the true story of hapless London criminal John Smith who was infamously half hanged at Tyburn Tree, visitors will now have the chance to join the baying crowd. Back in 1705 after 'hanging around' for a staggering fifteen minutes, incredibly the crowd and his wife began calling for a reprieve.

But this time the power is in your hands – will you be a Christmas scrooge or help deliver a miracle this festive season and reprieve John?

His fate is down to you!

Guests who successfully liberate John can then celebrate his second chance with a tot of Christmas spirit in the Dungeon's very own Victorian Tavern experience, with a free festive drink. As the piano belts out the latest music hall tunes, the feisty landlady and landlord will hold court telling tales of London's Victorian Christmas crimes.

There are plenty of surprises in store this December as the London Dungeon reveals 1,000 years of London's dark history throughout the experience in 19 shows, featuring some of history's greatest rogues and villains, two thrilling rides and plenty of edge-of-the-seat surprises.
