George Clooney To Make Sweet Movie In St Louis, Missouri

Missouri Division of Tourism

St Louis, Missouri, is set to welcome movie mega-star and heart-throb George Clooney this year for the filming of his new movie Up in the Air.

The film is based on a book of the same name by, Walter Kirn that tells the story of a constant traveller, played by Clooney, whose life falls apart on his mission to collect his 1 million frequent flyer miles.

Filming will take place in St Louis at various locations and at St. Louis Lambert Airport. The project is expected to have an economic impact of up to $50 million for the state.

This is not the first film to be shot in St Louis. Matt Damon shot his movie The Informant there and Tim Robbins was in town to shoot The Lucky Ones which was released last year.
