Airline to be major sponsor of concert for the National Breast Cancer Foundation

Garuda Indonesia, the airline of Indonesia, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the inaugural Beats for Breast Cancer concert. The concert will bring together some of Australia's best musical acts to perform live, raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Held on Wednesday, 10th December 2014, the concert for a cure will acknowledge and celebrate 20 years of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, while raising funds and awareness for the breast cancer research in Australia.

Artists including urban pop sensations Justice Crew, X factor star Timomatic and UK's pop royalty Leo Sayer will perform at Qantas Credit Union Arena. With the first artist line up covering a diverse range of genres, Beats 4 Breast Cancer delivers to all ages and walks of life in the first of what will be an annual event.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Garuda Indonesia's Vice President for Australia/SWP, Uun Setiawan, says: “At Garuda Indonesia, we live by a constant goal to look after our passengers to our best ability. The National Breast Cancer Foundation works to change the lives of Australians living with breast cancer, and we are proud to be able to support the cause by sponsoring this amazing event. As an organisation, we are committed to contributing to the National Breast Cancer Foundations aspirational goal of no more deaths from breast cancer by 2030.”

Artists also performing include The Soorley's, Amber Lawrence, Morgan Evans, L-FRESH The Lion, C Major and Diana Rouvas with a second artist announcement coming shortly.
